while download data for gstr 4 it's showing that wait for 20 minutes but after 20 minutes nothing is happening

Yes it will show 20 mins but it is taking 1-2 hr , so pls check after some time it will be generated

Yes,
You can logout or you can do any other work on GST Portal , if any
And login after 1-2 hours and you will able to see Generated File and download it
