Quick Summary
The Goods and Services Tax (GST) return filing dates have been extended. Crucially, the deadline for depositing the tax amount has also been pushed back. For regular taxpayers, the tax payment is effectively linked to the GSTR-3B return filing, meaning the return date also serves as the payment date. This update aligns with recent GST circulars and notifications.
