what is turnover in case of sale on commission basis ? is it Commission receipt or gross receipts ? what we have to consider?

Dear saurav,

Rs. 20 lacs limit was given for basic exemption under GST. This limit applies both for goods and services.

Hope you are doing sale on commission basis, then you will be getting only commission.

Gross receipts of the commission will be considered for calculating the threshold limit.

it's travel agent ? so they get gross receipts ? then they cut the commission and rest of the amount transfer to the principal ?
