1. Rs. 50,000/- limit is u/s. 194IB of income tax........ (w.e.f. 01.06.2017)
2. Now, don't get confused with GST and IT......
Under GST...... you are suppossed to pay GST on rent @ 18%(whatever amount.. no basic limit) to your landlord, if he is registered under GST and charges forward. If he is not registered under GST, but you are registered, you have to pay under RCM.......
