we have manufacturing company transfer goods to job work to our party ( for planting work) with PO. and At time product return we paid amount with gst. & take as purchase in my book. also take gst input on the same. It is proper or we have to do any thing other process.

there will be no GST when you receive your goods from job worker after job work
Gst will be applicable if goods are not retrun by the job worker within time period of 1 year for inputs and 3 years for capital goods . Same will be treated as deemed supply as per section 143 of the CGST act 2017

one more query for these all we have to file any return for job ? as one of friend saying there is need to file gst return for job work
