I'd be happy to help you with your GST queries.

GST Applicability on Unprocessed Milk Unprocessed milk is exempt from GST under HSN code 0401.

GST Applicability on Home Delivery

Charges Home delivery charges are considered a supply of service and are taxable under GST.

Since your turnover is above ₹2 crores, you would need to register for GST, even if your main product (unprocessed milk) is exempt.

Registration Requirements Although your main product is exempt, you need to register for GST because:

1. Your turnover is above ₹2 crores.

2. You're providing a taxable service (home delivery charges).

Taxability of Home Delivery Charges Home delivery charges will be taxed at the rate of 5% under GST, as they're classified as a supply of service.

Actionable Steps 1. *Register for GST*: Obtain GST registration, even though your main product is exempt.

2. *Charge GST on home delivery charges*: Charge 5% GST on the home delivery charges.

3. *File GST returns*: File GST returns (GSTR-3B and GSTR-1) to report your taxable supplies (home delivery charges).

 4. *Maintain records*: Keep accurate records of your transactions, including invoices and payment receipts.

Additional Guidance To avoid heavy fees from consultants, consider the following:

1. *GST portal resources*: Utilize the resources available on the GST portal, such as guides, FAQs, and tutorials.

 2. *GST helpdesk*: Reach out to the GST helpdesk for assistance with registration, returns, and other GST-related queries.

3. *Online GST communities*: Join online forums or communities to connect with other taxpayers and seek guidance from experts.
