if a school (upto HSC) avails manpower services from a manpower consulting. Will the manpower consultancy need to add applicable gst to the invoice or education institutes are exempted? Let me know pls.

If you are availing manpower services for the purpose of Security or cleaning or house keeping services then exempted. The agency is not required to submit Tax Invoice along with GST.
Thanks for the reply Rajendra! It is not for Security or cleaning but the placement is for Admin. team which will b a part of non teaching staff. We couldn't find anything about gst on placement of non teaching admin. staff. In this case do the agency need to charge them 18% gst as usual? \
Had called the gst helpline before posting and they were clueless about gst exemption rules for education institutes.
Yes, in the case the agency has to be charged 18% GST.
