Dear all,
according to recent decision in 37 GST council meeting has changed the application of GST for intermediary (also known as agents, brokers) in case both the supplier and buyer are outside India,
 
As mr. A  representing his foreign principal for Bangaldesh and in last two years or so, business generated from Bangladesh customers for direct shipment for oversees principal outside India,
 
Mr a expecting commission payment for such business generated within this quarter.

is it exempt from payment of GST ??

Yes correct It's Exempted.

As per Notification 20/2019 IGST (R)
Services provided by an
intermediary when location of
both supplier and recipient of
goods is outside the taxable territory.
