can gst number of another firm be used for my purchase with his consent??
if it's an offence what is the chance of being caught??
if product is purchased with another person gst and if he makes sales to me , will there arise any issue??

you cannot purchase with another person's gstn.
if purchases are made with GSTN of another person, it should form part of his purchases , not yours

If the other person is purchasing in his shop and then selling to you will not be problem but directly if you purchase goods to your place with/ without consent of the other party then it is not correct procedure.

@ Vinod Babu sir, if the product is different will it be a problem. i mean if the product to purchased is different from what gst Holder normally sold , will there be any issue???
There is no such problem unless dealing in those product requires specific approval under other legislation...
If the goods is similar to nature of business, then no problem.
