my client gstbwasregistered in Chennai, for business purpose he was goes meerut for stay hotel room rent and return thru flight
can I claim both hotel rent and air ticket at my gst input ?

Yes... He can claim ITC for the both.
Room rent at mathura and place of service provide at mathura, but charge cgst and sgst or igst ?

Hotel Bill charged as per Intra state supply. So, ITC not available.
But, Flight ticket can be charge IGST. If it's also charged CGST and SGST then ITC not available...

You can claim itc only on flight ticket. if you stay in hotel within state then you can claim itc on hotel room

My 1st reply is wrongly replied without considering the hotel POS...
If the person has registration in meerut, then he can claim ITC in meerut.. if only registered in Chennai, then he cant claim hotel CGST and SGST. Air freight input can be claimed.
