Since GST is gonna be applicable from April,11 .. Will the Indirect Tax course syllabus change for students attending nov11 ....?? Or will we have to study the old VAT,Serv Tax,Customs n Excise Duty...?

Amendements are applicable to exams after 6 months of its coming into force!!!
so check the dates!! if it is 1st april'11 then 6 months means 1st november!!! november is an exam month 6 months doesn't gets complete b4 nov 1st so don worry it is not applicable to the best of my knowledge!!

gst is not amendment
it is an entire act
if it comes into force in finance act 2011 then it will be applicable from may 2012
and if in finance act 2011 it is subjected to dates like gst w.e.f 01.10.2010 then here concepts of 6 months will apply
6 months amendments stands for amendments in act through notifications or circulars issued by board or those amendments in act which are subjected to dates
but if a entire finance act introduce something then it is applicable after 12 months
