I am buying an apartment in Kakinada, AP, a non-metro city. The extent of the flat is 80 sq mt of carpet area, outer walls 9 sq mt, Balcony & Utility - 8.6 sq mt and common areas - 27 sq mt. Is this apartment eligible for Affordable housing category? The project is having 10 apartments and is not registered as an affordable housing project. Am I eligible to avail 1% GST considering this an affordable house. I have an another flat on my name, does this effect in any way?
Can somebody please let me know where I can find full information on affordable housing and applicable GST guidelines?
