ONE OF MY FRIEND HAS CLEARED FIRST GRP OF PE 2 BUT NOT ABLE TO APPEAR LAST ATTEMPT ON MAY,2010. 2ND GROUP IS REMAINING. HE CALLED TO ICAI,MUMBAI. THEY TOLD HIM TO CONVERT IPCC AND WILL GET EXEMPTION ON 3 SUBJECTS OF IPCC (OUT OF 7) . I.E. ACCOUNTS (1ST GRP OF IPCC) ,AUDIT AND LAW. BUT HE HAS TO APPEAR 2ND GRP - ACCOUNTS . IS IT TRUE ????
PLEASE CLARIFY ON IT AND GIVE SOME INFORMATION. HE IS VERY CONFUSED AND SAYING TO LEAVE CA COURSE AS HE HAS TO REAPPEAR ACCOUNTING.

He has to appear only for IT&SM, Income Tax and for Costing & FM.............no need to re-appear for Accounts as he already has clrd that.

We should be converted in PCC. so that we can develop the confidence on group -II subjects.
Hi all iam also sailing on same boat . I have cleared firt group in 99 after that i am not appeared in second group. Now pls advise what i have to do . If i will convert to IPCC then i will get exemption of first group or not , secondly what fee i have to pay for registration . Pls guide me in details.
