Group 2 before group 1 ipcc

Hi guys,

I want to give group 2 exams in coming November attempt while I haven't studied Group 1 before. There's a long story behind all this. Basically, the only question I want to ask you guys is whether I'll be able to clear group 2 advanced accounts (with hard work) without having proper knowledge of Group 1 accounts?

I've some basic knowledge of Group 1 accounts.

P.S. I don't care whether I'll be able to start my articleship or not after clearing only group 2.

Help ! Urgent.

Yes you can score good in IPCC Group-2 accounts (even you don't expertise in group 1 accounts - except partnership & amalgamation to some extent) - provided you have understanding of accounts/ accounting funda's.

I have some basic idea about group 1 accounts. Though I get confused sometimes but I know I am gonna work very hard. So, there won't be any major problem for me in advanced accounts, right?
