as i read "goods mentioned in ceta do not need that it is excisable"

anybody tell me the meaning and example of these lines...?

The goods mentioned in CETA are excisable with the rates prescribed therein. but there may be any exemption notification regarding the exemption u/s 5.

 

That means we have to check if the goods are mentioned in CETA and no exemption notification is in effect on that item.

Hope I am correct.
