Happiness is not dependant on good wife. It depends on persons thinking i.e. how he takes the situations. Happiness is an inner thing. If you get a bad wife, try to improve her instead of being philosopher. you should not run out from your life's problems.

Agree,There is nothing good or bad.Both need to understand each other & move.Life is beautiful & complete together.

May be soon marriages will be brough t under service tax net, as govt wants revenue. Marriage means when you marry a lady and she definitely render services right from cooking, sweepig, brooming, care taking, so soon govt may bring service tax. Here what service is good and bad can you define? Socrates said only because of his uncongenial wife he became great philosipher, though he was a carpenter. So his bad wife helped him to become great philosopher, can we call that lady who was her wife. it is only how you look at?

Actually No wife is to be considered as good or bad. Wife means wife, Better half. If husband thinks positively then wife is good, if not, bad. Moreover, it's a great lacking of husband not to make a bad wife good.

deepak u said correct...am not commenting on socrates view..as what he said was just his view bt in general instead of going into depression and start writing poetry one should try to solve the problems..may be socrate's becoming a philosopher was his way of solving his problem..may be his wife was really uncongenial,so in a way he has saved his marriage by becoming a philosopher...and not leaving her..

wife will love these whether these Qualities or there in husband or not..I don't know now a days wifes or thinking like this but from past  lakh  of years of ur Indian History Wives are like that only 

Some people are spoilling wives If not wives are really good

The only person who support wife is only husband so dont blame ur wife in fron of others and wife too... if this is not happens no couple will go to family court for divorse

I beg to differ kishore,bt mother is the greatest of all and not wife..n yes wife cn leave u,ur complexion will matter to her,ur job,and evrythng can make her leave u..Mother is god and wife's love is conditional..I think u better know..
