Friends,
Today I registered myself for GMCS-1. Just now i realised that Demand Draft should be in favour of'SIRC of ICAI". But I had taken DD in favour of 'The Secretary,ICAI'. Will SIRC accept this?

No they cannot accept. Do not fear. Take a copy of dd and cancel the same with bank and take a new dd currently and sirc will approve your new dd for the same batch provided u give a request alongside copy of dd. All the best. Do not delay

The DD no. with which i had registered gets changed!
Does simply writing a request letter would sort out the issue??? Or Have to proceed online??
Solution : Take a photocopy of the DD. Cancel the DD. Take a new one. Explain the mistake to the respective staff.Produce the foll.:
1. Photocopy of old DD
2.New DD(the correct one)
3. Acknowledgement with a photo attached
4.NOC letter from auditor
