Jeans, sportshoes and informal are not allowed

hey can anyone please tell whats the dress code in delhi? as per i have heard they say just formal. Are the formal knee length dresses included? or just that salwar kameez stuff? :-((

you heard rightly they only say formal dress
but jeans and sports shoes are prohibited.
