Gmat -> mba

MBA 1156 views 1 replies

Hi All

Starting this thread for those of us, who are actively seeking for an international MBA / ISB in India.

Most of once we advance in our careers, have to reject IIMs as a choice, because mostly hiring after an IIM degree is again at starting levels (analyst etc), which might not be of interest.

However, International schools as well as ISB in India, generally look for a solid Grad degree, which a lot of us lack being busy with the CA program (at least I do :)). CA is arguably “generally" not regarded as a good grad degree.

Lets connect together at this thread and lets discuss that how we can make it with our prestigious CA degree (which we are fully aware is prestigious enough).

Thx, Sid

P.S. - Strictly for those, who are CAs and looking for further advancement in their career thru an international degree incl MBA / MS-F.

I am glad to read this post. Anything non conventional CA stuff is exciting! I wish to support your cause and lets have a discussion on this. I am currently appearing for my CA final exams in Nov and m keen on preparing for GMat after Nov. UK is a preferred destinaion for me thugh m little worried about funding the course. I have an experiece of working in the Public Sector for about a year. I worked for the World Bank and Ministry of Finance Govt of India. So lets see if this imapcts my CV and further my MBA plans.
