Gift of mutual fund

hello,
can we gift or transfer mutual fund and shares stock directly to mother or from mother to son ??

You can't gift mutual funds.
2. it is practically not possible.
3. if you want to gift, you can make the person you intend to gift to as your nominee and it goes to them after your demise.
4. if you want to gift instantly... sell the fund. transfer money to sons account. buy it from his account.
