wht is the action against an accountant in firm who did fraud ?? if the balance sheet of his time is finalised and he left the job whether any action taken against him or her after he left the job ?? or ca firm is eligible for fraud who audit his work???

as per AAS 4, it is not the auditors responsibility to detect the frauds in the financial statments, if it is proven tht he had taken due diligience while auditing the books of the accounts. Hence no legal action can be taken against auditor subject to he has taken due diligence.
As per as Company is considerd it may take legal action against accountant
