08 December 2009Dear friends, when we are filling details of directors in annual return, we are required to provide the date of cessation.
1.My query is that for an additional director, are we required to show the date of AGM as the date of cessation? He is being appointed as director at the AGM.
For next annual return , the date of appointment should be the date as last AGM?
2.Also should we file form 32 for the change in his position from additional director to director?

Dear G.K.,
1. Yes, Additional Director can hold office till next AGM. So date of cessation will be the dt of AGM.
For next Annual Return, the date of appointment will be the date of this AGM.
2. Yes, Form32 must be filed.
