Formalities to start a garment business in home

mention the details of the type of business that you want to start... sole proprietorship or partnership or company ...formalities will depend on that..

but i suggest that initially you should start as sole proprietor and later expand the business.... as this will require minimal formalities.... and lots of tax exemptions

you should start with a sole proprietorship and get a shop establishment certificate and also apply for vat. if you purchase from outside state then you also need to register for cst. and then you can start you business........ if you plan to start a partnership firm, the first you need to register your partnership deed and then follow the above mentioned steps.
