I want to know how to calculate the value of production (Finished goods ER-4).  I have calculated as per the average value of sales amount whether it is right or not please advise. Thanks.

u have value of opening stock, closing stock and sales balance figure is cost of production. i have done so while filling ER-4 return.

i HAVE NOT GOT IT YET YOU MEAN SALES rS.5000-OPENING BAL-1000-CLOSING BALANCE-1000 = 3000 IS THE PRODUCTION COST PLEASE CLARIFY.  THANKS

Closing Stock+Sales-opening stock= production,(of finished goods0

If Opening Stock=3000, Sales=10000, Closing Stock=2000

Production=2000+10000-3000=9000
