Form dir- 11 is mandatory or not for a govt. company

First of all DIR 11 is required to be filed in case of Resignation only to be filed by the Director who has resigned and it is required to be filed in case of Government Company.

Sir,

If the director is nomineted by state government and his nomination is revocked and other person is nomineted by the govt. as director in whose place then in such a case filing of dir 11 is mandatory or not for the director whose nomination is revoked.

Because in such a case the director is not resigning form the office of director but his nomination is revocked. Please provide your valuable comments in this matter.

Dear sir,

it is not a resignation , it is kind of removal hence DIR-11 need not to be filled.
