Form 26 q error 4062

Dear all,

We have filed Regular Form 26Q (F-Y 2012-13 & 2013-14)statement in RPU3.8 referring Deductee reference No in Column (413 )/ 12. And now we are correcting the file using the latest conso.file.from the website.But the validation error message was as under

We have checked the Deductee PAN and other details thoroughly and found correct.But we have quoted different Reference no for same party in the same Form26Q file. Kindly help us to rectify this error at the earliest to upload the correction.

You have to mention the PAN details in deductee row in consecutive columns. Are both same ? check once.

Ya sir its same ..Further I have contacted NSDL cell.They replied me as under:

"Please note that you have to create RPU file newly because this T-FV-4062 error is occurs due to in column name 'Last PAN of Employee' you have wrongly or by mistake enter PAN and therefore to resolve your error you have to create new RPU file"

But my file is for the FY2012-13 Q4 and I read that , NO cancellation of Return can be made .. So how will I create new RPU file? and I asked the same query to NSDL cell ..Then the reply was

This is with reference to your e-mail regarding filing of e-TDS return kindly note the following points.

The (file format) or versions in which the e-TDS /e-TCS return is to be prepared is available on NSDL site www.tin-nsdl.com or at

https://tin-nsdl.com/Downloadsquarreturns_regular.asp

E-TDS/e-TCS return can be prepared using the NSDL e-TDS Return Preparation Utility or any other software.

Once the file has been prepared the same should be verified using the File Validation Utility (FVU) provided by NSDL.

In case file has any errors the FVU will give a report of the errors. Rectify the errors and verify the file again through the FVU, you will get .fvu file.

The upload file generated by the FVU is to be furnished to a TIN-FC or directly uploaded through the NSDL web-site.

There is no such procedure to cancel the regular accepted statement, however, if deductor has quoted wrong TAN then the statement can be cancelled by filing Y- type correction return. After the regular statement with incorrect TAN is cancelled a regular TDS / TCS statement with the correct TAN should be filed. In case of any corrections to be made, you are requested to furnish a correction statement in the prescribed format & submit to the nearest TIN-FCs or through online uploading facility."

Now what is the solution for my problem..I have received notices for FY2013-14 and need an urgent solution to correct all these files. The regular return was submitted by a Consultant firm and not interested to take this correction work.
