i am done with my articleship.ut i submitted my 108 form 1 day after the allowable time(30 days)
now i got a reply from icai that i have to submit a letter of condonation with draft...
its nowhere written that the letter should be attested by my ex-principal, so i dont think its required and i dont even want to go to my ca's office cauz his office is quite far.....
plz help
Yes ur right, there is no need to get the letter of condonation attested by the principal. you have to simply write a letter (whether hand written or typed) and attach a DD of100 payable to the relevant office of ICAI along with a photo copy of your form 108(desirable).
I Think That Late Fees is rs. 500

i think it need to signed by your principal in the condonation letter, then only ICAI will accept. one of my friend faced the same problem.
and regarding delay you need to make DD of Rs 100/- and send the same along with condonation letter

DD is payable payable @ mumbai or Delhi.. i m from Pune.. plz help..
My articleship was completed on 24/08/2013 but still i could not submit form 108. Now it is required to submt an application for reason of delay submission with form 108.
