I have filed my gstr 3b on 29-09-2017 and my tax liability was 22000 and late fee 1800 and I have paid 22000+ 1800 but I forgot to pay 18% interest

sir I have made payment on 29 Sept 2017 for the August GSTR 3B. So I late for the 9 days. but now gstr 3 date is not declared. so I have to pay interest on 9 days or upto date of the GSTR3 ?

Every month payment date is 20th of the month... We can't pay on or before 20th then we ll be interest after 20th to payment made on date...

Interest will not be payable only for 9 days. Now interest will be payable from 20Aug till the date GSTR3 for Aug is filed.

sorry from 20th sep till date you will file gstr3 for Aug. It is loss to business thats why we are against extending normal returns date .
