Forgot income tax efiling password

Resend the mail with all inforation i.e PAN number , Father' name , DOB & PAN registered address & hope you will get it or else check your mail as to have you received it in junk mail

Or other alternative is check the software you used to file wherein it will have the option to show password

it usually takes about 4 hours to get an e mail.

Mail for resetting forgotten password of e-filing from validate @ incometaxindia.gov.in sometimes comes in junk or spam, so make sure you checked it.

please all try are fail, still not get password, send the email to income tax  as per the id mention above,but change the your id you have send earlier.

Firstly am thanking you for opening my message. Am a good student and i hope i have all the qualities to become a CA .am good at accounting and i want to be a CA.Someone told me that it is very important to have a fluency in language.As i have the problem of Stuttering/ Stammering am not be able to communicate/interact with people properly. It doesn't mean that i don't talk at all. But i cant say some words/sentences properly. i'll take a long time to pronounce some words. Am i not be able to build my career as i have stuttering ?? Is it impossible to build my career becaus of having stuttering ? Please reply me as soon as possible. Am waiting for your reply Thanking you......

I have registered my PAN  for efilling return. But while registering PAN,    BY MISTAKE I write my wrong

email address. that is why I CANT'T  complete further porcess.(I Can't  get activation link.). about two

years are passed. Now I can't remember my user ID, answer of secret question or password. The 

department send me passward via email but as I don't remember my user Id I am unable to access

my account.  NOw I want to deregistered my PAN account so that I can reregister my PAN AGAIN.

PLEASE guide me suitably for deregisteration of PAN. 

One of my clients has a similar problem.

She had asked an agent last year to register her on efiling website and now he forgot the password and also the secret questions.

The email id he had provided while registration also was his own.

So no chance of getting any info from there.

I have sent a mail to validate @ incometaxindia.gov.in giving the required particulars about 2 weeks back but no reply.

(They must have sent mail to the registered email id which belongs to the agent)

I tried calling the toll free number but she told me that the service of sending new password is discontinued from August 13 and will be resumed soon. 

I m waiting...

he says he did not register.. so he dont know the password, reset answer nor the email address..

if someone else has register it and confirmed with his own email then how the PAN holder suppose to know what information he is used :)

Atleast they should provide the Email address by which it was registered... so it can be like some hint to the real person.

In this case you can change password and the mail id used by Digital Signature.

First you get digital signature and go to the Forgot Password choose the option of New DSC in Digital Signature.

Now you can change your password and Registered mail id.

My last income tax return filed by CA and his genret password but not give me so please send my password in my email id "jhasuprabh @ yahoo.in"
