Dear Sir,
yes, you can file the return for A.Y. 2012-13 but penalty of Rs. 5000 may be levied on you by A.O. and also as it would be considered as belated return, thus, carry forward of loss (if any) and other implications e.g. revision of return can't be done etc.... would be attracted...
