Guys der r lot of ppl saying dat no. of attempts doesn’t matter. I do agree wid dat.
I thot I’ll b getting some good offers once I clear my exams… Nw, I’ve cleared my CA final in May 2012. Its ma 3rd attempt (both grps in one sitting). I was so excited to call myself a qualified chartered accountant.
But al ma excitement has gone disappeared within 3 days… nly wen I started looking for a job I’ve come to knw the importance of attempts. Yes. der r lot of openings on job portals.. but everyone needs nly 1st attempt… some kind hearted ppl r considering 2nd attempt… n dats it… dey don wan 3rd attempts even for consideration…. am really fed up wid the screening process of dos companies….. I really hav no idea how d hel dey r judging me based on attempts?? !!!
al r knwldge, experience, skills, aptitude and attitude have nothing to do wid 1st attempt…..I heard frm som of ma frnds dat dis s wat happening in ICAI placements also.. So am jus thinking of shud I sit in placements or not….
nyways am prepard for nything… v hav lot of options open for us…
but stil I jus wanted to share d situation v r facing rit nw…
So pls don waste ur attempts guys… Wish u al d very best!!!
