Sir/Madam,

I want to know that if custom tribunal confirm impose penality upon any person and he passed away afeter order.

Then :

1. matter will be end. or

2. his legal surviver have to pay full amount or

3. his legal surviver have to pay upto any limitation.

customs tribunal fine imposed may be of
1. tax / fine imposed on personal baagage or effects, overruling the permissible limit.
2. on goods imported
if the case is under 1 then customs will ignore the things after getting death certificate.
if the case is under 2 then the person who is in position of imported goods or using it, is liable to pay the same.
