AMA : Marginal costing, standard costing, transfer pricing, ABC, Decision making...most important and do complete theory

ISCA: all 10 chapters are equally important...but if you really want to take option then ch4 testing and ch10 it act can be removed from core preparation cause out of 7 you require to attempt 6 only

DT: All 5 heads...PGBP, Salary, Capital gain most imp...Assesment of entities, Assesment procedure, search, MAT, TDS, sec 92, are most important and ofcourse wealth tax,,,

IDT: Prepare Excise and service tax portion in detail...and in custom do only valuation and practical sum....

First complete above part then if time available then think of other

All the best..

INDIRECT TAX :

1. Supplementary Study Material of ICAI - 16 Marks (contains the amendementa applicable)

2. Case Laws for Nov 2012 - 30 Marks Ques have been coming in recent attempts

3. Valuation - VAT, Service Tax,Customs,SSi,CENVAT, Excise - 30 Marks - simple questions.

4. Read Service tax and VAT - full.

This will ensure you atleast 50+. Like with me. :)

ISCA :

1. Do chapter 10 - IT Act from Practice Manual Exclusively.

2. Do Chapter 4,5,6,7. Easy Chapters - 30 Marks come from them.

3. Special focus on Chap 8,9 - Though these are important but are equaly boring.

4. I left chapter 2,3. But would suggest you to study if you have time.

COSTING :

1. Study OR in full. Be very very strong in this. It will make sure you get enough marks in passing costing.

2. Do past 3 RTP questions - 2 times. Questions have been coming of the same sort more or less.

3. Practice, Practice , Practice.

This will make sure you'll pass atleast. If you sincerely do RTPs and OR fully.

THANKS KETAN & AKSHAT

2. Proffessional Ethics - 16 Marks sure question and its very esy.

3. Just give a general reading of everything else.
