I am newly employed. I obtained my PAN card from Himachal Pradesh (my place of residence) and my circle office was Patiala (i think). Now I work in Mumbai and have to file the return. In ITR form, there is a column for Inc Tax ward/circle office code. Should I fill in my current location (Mumbai's code) or my PAN card associated code. Also do I have to notify IT dept of change in ward/circle office. If so how??
Forgive my naive query, but I could not find an answer to this on the internet
Edit - This would be my first income tax return i.e. I have never filed a return until now
