Filing return already filed...

Recently My friend has asked for strange issue...

Return was filed elecronically and the same was not sent by mistake to dept..

120 days are expired...

And they people are not accepting e-filing of the same person..

Now plz advise me what to do?

Is there any option other than revising the return?

Due date of revising return has not expired yet...

Plz help...It is about getting refund of 21000 Rs...

First send the acknowledgement to the income tax department. Most of the times they will consider. If they dont consider then revise the returns and send the acknowledgement. But i think it is definitely necessary to send the acknowledgement to the the department even if the due date has expired

Yes, It is necessary to send acknowledgement to the income tax department and will hopefully accept your request, In case there is any objection by department you have to  revise the returns and send the acknowledgement to concern.

I think you can write to CPC one application with humble request attaching the acknowledgement and send it by registered post.
