I guess your question is regarding varied upcoming options for practicing CAs.
Well.....according to me, you got to be jack of all grass root level basic knowledge and experience in our field.
Mastering a particular field further like most of our colleagues do, can be quite fruiful. Most of CAs master in varied fields like in NRI taxation, transfer pricing, M&A, project finance, service tax, VAT, etc etc....
Thus options are many........and better yielding too.........keep going
