Exemption u/s 80D

Being a senior citizen you can claim deduction of 50000 + 5000(preventive health checkup)
now in your case you can claim 30000 as ded under 80D or if you have incurred any expenses on health check you canclaim that max 5000 but the medical expenditure incurred cannot be claimed as deduction as according to amendments made in finance Act 2018 only those senior citizen who dont have medical insurance can claim the medical expenditure those who have insurance cannot claim such benefit .
