I am a central govt. employee.
my father is suffering from kidney disease and he is on dialysis. his treatment is continue in govt hospital for last 2 years. I got recently a huge amount of medical reimbursement. is it taxable? Is it exempted?
if no, what will be exempted amount in my case
pls guide.....

I spent money for treatment and applied through essentiality certificate attestated by that doctor.then now I got reimbursed from my department.
