Exempt income in itr-1 form

695 views 5 replies

Dear Sir/Madam,

In ITR-1 form for AY 2017-2018, on page Taxes Paid and Verification, under Exempt income (For reporting Purposes), I have shown Dividend amount of Rs 9528 in Sec.10(34) and Long Term Capital Gains amount of Rs 352000 in Sec.10(38).

My query is, is it correct to show these two amounts in the new ITR-1 form or do I have to use the ITR-2 form ?

Awaiting your reply,

Thank you.
