first thing excise duty is not an act but it is indirect tax on goods manufactured. you can read books available in the market like Bangar, V.S.Date etc.

Hi! All
I want to know how one can prepare RG report & ER excise forms from his accounting data.
I want to understand step by step hierchy of excise calculations for manufacturer, jobworker, and export import unit. Is there any book ?

I would recommend Datey. It is a very reader friendly commentary.
GSTR 9 and 9C for FY 23-24 as amended by Notification 12/2024 dated 10th July 2024(with recording)
