what is the turn over of this year based on that only can say

An a assessee  intend to take Central Excise Registration under exemption limit i.e 1.5 Cr. still he is exempted from duty payment if not availing cenvat credit (noti.no. 8/2003 dt.1.3.03), after at the time of limit crossed he is eligible to avail credit on which goods lying stock on that day, but he would not eligible before the limit.

If he is paying duty before limit, as usual eligible to avail credit, and also avail duty on lying stock on that day of registration.

If you are intends to avail cenvat credit on your inputs, and then you need to clear your final products with normal rate of duty payment. Irrespective of your turnover and you must obtain an excise registration with central excise authority. And you need to file monthly returns accordingly.
