Under Rule 16 of the Central Excise Rules, 2002, U can take credit in Cenvat account.

thanks.....bt what if the manufacturer is not availing the benefit of cenvat credit ?
then ur credit of sale return goods will be lost.
you can take credit of the duty paid on these goods when they are returned to the factory,The only condition is the activity done on the goods amounts to manufacturing.[Rule 16 of the C.E.Rule]
