Exams - passing criteria !!! :/

Has the passing criteria changed for CA Exams !??

Yesterday one of my friends messaged me that the Institute has announced that from May 2012 exams passing with 50% or above in individual subjects and 60 % or more on aggregate will be qualified as PASS !!!

Is that so ?

I checked in the Institute's website also... but i could not find any announcement/ notification regarding the same... !?!
