I m appearing for Final C.A (NEW) in MAY.. so, respected seniors plz share ur views about ur exams experience like sloving particular paper in certain manner or writing answer in particular style.. or mayb studying certain subject in a manner that seemed very fruitfull.. or if u can provide certain notes which u think is must ....things u did while studying or in exmas which u think was a mistake so that other can avoid doing same..

the suggestions which you have given there regarding how much to write according to marks are definitely going to help me in future . I always did the mistake of writing long answers for more marks questions . but i will not commit the mistake again in my future exams ..

wr ca final student stop thinking institute start their thinking at that point of time so concept and u hav to hav knowledge of each and evry topic now no topic is least important and no topic is most important icai has brought all the things at par..this is my exp.during nov.10 but unexpected...but mind bogling exp.i enjoyed it.
concentrate of practical papers for 2 months and theory for the last one month can be the best strategy for CA(Final)

I gave Group-1 of Final and these are my observation:
Financial Reporting was very confusing.
SFM was surprisingly easy.
Audit was very straight-forward and direct.
Law was pure bliss and very short.
I hav also attempted this nov and hoping for positive too.......
papers was full of surprise bcoz 100% change in pattern ,
almost every topic from syllabus is coverd i.e selective study will lead to horrible failure as per current icai trends.......
finally training is very very helpfull in papers like audit, law, direct tax, indirect tax specially in service tax and vat.......
it is apparent that icai is moving towards practical approach,
recent amendments(practical pprs like dt and idt coverd atleast 30-40% from amendments)
so wat i learnt is try to have study more and more practically ....................
change in pattern was the highlight of this exam which shook our minds completely and i think students who depend on self study are the most affected ones coz of it..
