Hi . Be confident..just give ur best. Stop last minute preparation. Just follow rtp and practice manual. But again dont repeat the same mistake for nov 2012.. Plan the things and execute in a proper way..then u see the output friend. Best of luck for this exam.
If u r gud in dt then go for dt to get exemption. . . .

I suggest you to go through the notes of ISCA prepared by CA Akhil Mittal. It is very useful for ISCA.

I share a link of his profile. Go & Check the notes..

Dear Nikita,

You have 18 days from tomorrow .

You can finish isca in 5 days by 2 chapter per day.

If you already finsishes DT then problem is solved.

IDT- 6 days - you can complete within 4 days. if you have surplus time revise DT too.

Costing - Last 7 days - 3 chaptrs per day. work out important problems.

Try to study 10-12 hrs per day. Be confident and appear for exam.

be confident you can do better and you can get better than nothing, so don't worry read practice manual and rtp for ISCA atleast

thanks to all I will try my best

Excellently put Sultan......

I totally agree with Sultan, Niketa.

Just do your best and appear confidently.

Do not skip an attempt.....

I once read in a CA class tha "To waste skip an attempt is thy crime,,,"

So go ahead and write your exams confidently.

All the best

Just read through supplementary material and relevant cases for IDT and work out problems in RTP. Keep reading and revising it till the exams. Definitely study RTPs for Nov 11 and May 12.

Study wealth Tax, Amendments and select Cases for DT. apart from that assessment procedures, Capital gains and PGBP are important. (DT is a tough nut to crack. can't really strategise much).

For Costing concentrate on OR (LPP and Network especially) and in costing quickly finish off Activity Based Costing, Budgeting then proceed to big chapters like standard costing and transfer pricing. last 2 days before exams keep reading theory from past papers and revising concepts in all chapters. work out a mock test.

For ISCA- study practice manual and search for Mr. BVN Rajeshwar 's important questions and study those questions. then proceed to detailed study. BCP/DRP, Risk management, ERP are pretty easy. SDLC, Testing of controls and IT Act are important. You'll definitely be able to finish studying ISCA within this week.

Last thing.. take it up as a fun challenge.. Be in the present moment and now is not the time to think about the past or future. Have a lot of fun learning... Wish you the best..:)
