Ex-Managing Partner's liability on Income tax dues notice to Company

Does the managing partner of a company in India have legal liability to pay for income tax notice sent to the company in 2021 for dues of the year 2013 when he resigned from the company in 2015? There are new Managing Partners now in the Company now and the notice is sent to the Company. Will the dues have to be paid from the company account or does the Managing Partner have to pay a share of the dues from his personal savings?

The liability will depend on the terms of resignation signed in 2015.
