In your case the eway bills is not required.
But you have keep a letter stating that it is send for repair purpose in your letter pad. Also with copy of original purchase bill(if present).

yes if it is send for repair & goods value is less then 50k , no need for e-way , but not get into any litigation of law it better to make E-way on Delivery challan
The eway bill is required only if the value of the goods is above Rs.50,000/- Yes it is true but in some cases irrespective of the value of the goods, the eway generation is mandatory. Here are the cases.
case I - If the movement of the goods for job work/repair work inter state then the eway bill is mandatory even the value of the goods is less than Rs.50,000/-. (In your case you are sending the goods intra state then you don’t need to generate eway bill).
case II - When handicrafts goods are transported from one state to another by a person who has been exempted from the requirement of obtaining registration, the e-way bill shall be generated by the said person irrespective of the value of the consignment.

E Way Bill is not required as the value of goods is less than Rs. 50000 but as per Central Tax Notification Number 12/2018 dated 07/03/2018, in this case generation of E Way Bill is required irrespective of value of consignment.
