One of our client deducted some bill amount under ESI head @ 6.5% of total bill. I just need to know where we have to book this deduction.
We have an leagder " Insurance of empolyess " can we book there.
Kindly guide the same

inn this case you are not supplying any manpower to client, so he can not deduct ESI from your bill...
You are responsible to deduct ESI & pay to govt. And you have to pass entry accordingly.
If you have also paid ESI then this will amount to dual payment..
