I am using the excel utility for ITR3 AY 25-26 . I am not able to generate json as validation error in schedule EI is repeating.I have no agricultural income. But the error says "Descripttion at SR.no.2 in sheet EI is compulsory". Please somebody help me resolve this.

If you do not ned the schedule EI, delete it from the Schedule 'General'.
I have exempt dividend income so i have to fill schedule EI. Is there anyother way?
Delete everything in Sr. NO. 2 & 3 all, even delete the word "select" which shows in drop downs & apperar in columns.
I had same issue yesterday, this way it worked. Try it may work for you too.
In sr no.3 I converted all drop down to "select" and deleted everything including zero and it worked. Thank you.
