When i click on "Generate xml" in itr excel utility the "Pre-xml" sheet is not getting created and the last sheet i.e. of tds gets opened and also no xml is getting generated.
I think i need to change some settings. If you know the required changes please specify.
Make sure that macros are enabled
all settings related to macros and active x controls are already checked.
Also the error is not there if i take excel file and try generating xml on any other system
can you use other options like validate shhet ?
all the options are visible. Just when i m clicking on generate xml, the last sheet gets opened i.e. of tds and further pre-xml sheet does not create.
The code for generating must been currupt ..Not a big deal....Just see if this problem comes up again for fresh itr on same machine

first to valid all sheet and than save .
and than go to view tab
macro option -view macro
in view macro -create xml tab press
than after xml file is create .
